Friday 6th September - a night to remember! Our two Torbay choirs put on a showcase concert at the Princess Theatre in Torquay to a huge audience.
It was a night of uplifting, joyous Pop Anthems with over 130 voices raising spirits. Big Noise Chorus were joined by a live band that took us on an exploration of classic songs celebrating the wonder of the world around us.
From ELO’s Mr. Blue Sky and The Kinks’ Waterloo Sunset to Circle of Life and Carly Simon’s Let the River Run, there were foot-stomping joyous songs for all ages.
A retiring collection was held for Surfers Against Sewage to support their excellent work.
Supporting acts were local rock band Draculin & Tess & the D’Urbervilles a lively acappella group from Exeter.
