Highly Commended!

Exeter Sustainability Awards – March 2025 

Big Noise Chorus is thrilled to announce we have been awarded “Highly Commended” (2nd place) in the Exeter Sustainability Awards 2025 (Micro Business Category). With 14 small businesses applying for this category, we are absolutely thrilled to receive this award! 

David Whitton and Colin Rea attended the Awards lunch in Exeter on behalf of Big Noise Chorus, where approximately 100 hopeful entrants from around 30 local businesses gathered to hear about the inspiring work each other are doing to reduce their impact on the planet. In a time where there is so much negative and depressing news it is easy to be overwhelmed by despair, but being in a room packed to the rafters with over 100 individuals who are doing what they can to make a positive impact in their communities and for the planet was more than just a balm for the soul - it redoubled our sense of hope. 

It is so easy to feel like we are just drops in the ocean when it comes to combating climate change, but these drops when put together become a stream, a river, a sea and eventually an ocean.
