    God Only Knows - we nearly did it in the Spring term. Let's try if for the summer term.

    Got a suggestion or two. An Elton John song might be a popular choice (funny enough I'm not a fan in particular!) 'I'm Still Standing'.
    Or 'Stars' by Simply Red.
    What about 'Angels' by Robbie Williams.
    Have another idea. Maybe we could all vote on the suggestions therefore having one song per term chosen by the members?

    Fields of Gold (Sting/Eva Cassidy) - mellow, lovely lyrics. Summertime (Gershwin, Porgy and Bess) - we can do  bluesy/jazzy stuff now surely?, We Are The World, We Are The Children (Michael Jackson/charity recording by USA for Africa) - rousing, hopefully reflecing philosophy of choir, eg giving, awareness of needs of others etc,  a real power ballad that everyone knows. Summer Night s from Grease. Could we do Mr Blue Sky again or Here Comes the Sun?

    Assuming Colin can provide the men with a baritone line, and can manage to impersonate Whoopi Goldberg - hows about "I will follow him" from Sister Act.  (See U-tube clips to get an idea).  First part - calm - beautiful harmonies.  Last part - up-tempo with movement/clapping etc....   Right on........
